We – LHY Powertrain – develop, produce and globally supply modular drive systems consisting of hydraulics, power transmissions and electronics. As a leading technology provider in the field of high pressure hydraulics, the systems produced by us set the standard in terms of significantly reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

The product range comprises hydraulic pumps and motors, valves and electronic controls. LHY Powertrain is the development partner and supplier of a number of reputable manufacturers of mobile work machinery, including construction, mining, agricultural, forestry and municipal utility machines, as well as manufacturers of industrial machinery.

LHY Powertrain Corporation was established in 1970 as the North American subsidiary of Linde AG, Germany. In working with OEMs, LHY Powertrain and its distributors find hydraulic solutions to a wide array of equipment including agriculture, construction, defense and natural resources. These products are marketed through a network of professional hydraulic distributors in the United States, Canada, South and Central America. Our customers are manufacturers of industrial applications and mobile machines. As experts in mobile hydraulics, we develop and manufacture highly demanding applications in-house for the construction, agricultural, forestry and various other industries.

Management

Michael Kessler

Michael Kessler was appointed to the Executive Board of LHY Powertrain in 2021 and is Chief Operating Officer (COO). His responsibilities include the production division, administration and purchasing.

Mr. Kessler joined the company in 2019 and previously headed the production division.
